	There are three main types of Mount board STANDARD, CONSERVATION and MUSEUM STANDARD: Unlike some other board our Standard board is produced to a neutral pH specification. Made of three layers, the backing paper is acidic free ideal for posters, prints, photographs, textiles, virtually any subject that does not need conservation framing. Darac STANDARD: (Silver) The nearest to conservation board Made of three layers, the core and backing have been chemically purified and the cover paper is produced to a neutral pH specification. A pure white (that stays white) core, that enhances the appearance of any subject, giving confidence and protection against acidic contamination. Available with Black Core, a striking acidic free solid black core and backing creating a black bevel giving an added dimensional look. CONSERVATION: (Gold) A 100% solid board Chemically purified board from which all potentially harmful substances have been extracted. Buffed with calcium carbonate to protect against acidic elements within the environment. Fade and bleed resistance with solid colour bevel, this board is suitable for framing anything of financial or sentimental value, original art, antique, rare documents and museum quality work. MUSEUM: (Platinum) A solid board made totally from a non acidic 100% cotton fibre. A solid colour throughout. The very best protection available, non-acidic, bleed, scuff and fade resistant. Used by museums and the discerning collector, suitable for preservation of original artwork, fine prints, precious documents and heirlooms.
